While many of us have been enjoying the beautiful spring weather this past month, this period has been uncomfortable for all of the season allergy sufferers in our region. Recently, SouthCoast Health allergist, Dr. Wasil Khan appeared on WSAV and WTOC to address how the spring allergy season is affecting our region.
With WSAV, Dr. Khan discussed how it's been busier than usual this spring season due to an intense pollen season. He provided tips to help viewers who are suffering with spring allergies.
WTOC’s Morning Break featured Dr. Khan explaining that allergy sufferers are feeling the negative effects more intensely this time of the year. He advised to try to take control of the allergies’ effects with treatment before you start experiencing them, but also shared some ways to deal with symptoms during allergy season if you weren't able to get ahead of them.
Watch Dr. Khan's appearances to learn more about how our local spring weather affects your allergies this Allergy & Asthma Awareness Month.
