A dedicated, board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Nazare has experience working as an associate chief hospitalist and an associate medical director. She is an associate professor of medicine at Mercer Medical School in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Nazare joined SouthCoast Health in 2022.
Born in India, her family relocated to Saudi Arabia where she spent most of her childhood. At the time, education was only offered up to the 9th grade, so Dr. Nazare completed high school at The Webb School in Tennessee. After graduating high school, she moved to Canada with her parents, who had immigrated there due to the Gulf War.
At the age of seven, while on a tournament with her parents, Dr. Nazare discovered she had a passion for medicine. She helped comfort and treat an injured little girl stuck in a locker with basic first aid. Years later she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from York University in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Nazare earned her medical doctorate from the International University of Health Science in St. Kitts and Nevis, West Indies.
“What geared me towards internal medicine is the fact that I can follow a patient through their acute or chronic course,” says Dr. Nazare. “It allows me to watch my patient’s disease process improve over time. My goal is to help my patients reach their best possible health so that they can prevent hospitalizations.”
Dr. Nazare completed an internal medicine residency at Memorial University in Savannah, Georgia. She provides compassionate care to patients and works with them to develop a treatment plan that benefits their long-term health.
Throughout Dr. Nazare's life, Mother Teresa has been an illustrious role model. Her acts of selflessness and kindness inspire Dr. Nazare to lead a similar impactful life. Dr. Nazare's favorite quote from Mother Teresa is: "The miracle is not that we do this work, but that we are happy to do it."

Dr. Nazare specializes in preventative care. She is passionate about making a difference and educating patients on their disease process.
Married with two children, Dr. Nazare is a talented baker who enjoys cooking with her husband. Her family spends a lot of time together outdoors playing pickleball and soccer, roasting marshmallows over the firepit, gardening, and traveling.
