Serving the Lowcountry and Coastal Empire of Georgia and South Carolina.
A service provided from our expert Certified Lactation Counselors in order to assist and support mothers as they establish a sufficient milk supply for their baby’s nutrition.
Breastfeeding is the healthiest and most natural way of providing vital nutrients to an infant for optimal growth and development. While rewarding, breastfeeding can also be a stressful task for new and seasoned mothers alike. In order to promote and support breastfeeding, our dually certified nurse practitioners offer lactation counseling to all mothers during their first newborn checkup, as well as, in the weeks and months following the baby’s birth. In addition, we understand maternal health is a vital part in making a breastfeeding journey successful. Through early intervention, our CLCs can help mothers identify and understand common problems in order to prevent and overcome breastfeeding challenges.
